Bury Care Academy's presence at the event served a dual purpose: supporting our local community and Persona Care and Support while sharing information about rewarding careers in health and social care.

The team was there primarily to show solidarity with Persona and celebrate the community we serve. As part of the festive celebrations, Bury Care Academy organized a Christmas golf tournament, inviting residents, fair attendees, and community members to test their skills on the indoor driving range and compete for prizes. The tournament created a fun, engaging activity that brought people together in the spirit of the season.

While visitors enjoyed the golf challenge and festive atmosphere, it also provided natural opportunities for conversations about the diverse career pathways available in care.
