About this event

We're excited to launch a brand-new series of free, open information sessions designed to help people explore what it's like to work in Adult Social Care — and to connect our partners with individuals who are ready to take that next step.

These relaxed, 2-hour sessions are open to anyone and run every six weeks. Whether you're completely new to the sector or just curious about what care work actually involves, this is the perfect place to start. On the day, you'll:

• Hear the truth about working in social care — we'll bust the most common myths and set the record straight about what the roles are really like
• Discover the wide variety of roles available across adult social care in Bury
• Learn about the recruitment and hiring process so you know exactly what to expect
• Get answers to your questions from people who work in and around the sector
• Find out about the support available to help you into work

Places are limited to 20 per session and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We expect sessions to fill up quickly.

How to register

If you have a customer or contact who would be interested in attending, please email us with the person's name and email address. We will add them to the attendance list and contact them directly with joining instructions and further information.
